Trading a paper clip for a house sounds impossible, but it was done by a Montrealer named Kyle. Check out the video.
This story inspires us to believe we can get anything we want in life by using some creative thinking, connecting with others, and helping people fulfill their dreams. Dale Carnegie said that the deepest craving in human nature is to feel important, so we need to help people achieve that.
What do you want? What can you offer others? Kyle’s story illustrates that it doesn’t take money – it takes ideas.

Are you a good listener? (a video)

I once met a person who boasted about his listening skills. He told me that he was an active and empathetic listener – but he couldn’t remember people’s names.
As many of you know, Step 1 in remembering names is “Look and listen.” Can you remember names? It may be an indication of your listening skills.
In How to Win Friends & Influence People, Dale Carnegie wrote:
Remember that a person’s name is to that person the sweetest and most important sound in any language.
